WHAT IS KIN•DOM CLUB?
kin·dom club is a FREE, bi-monthly, online space for LGBTQIA+ youth to gather and experience queer belonging and celebration. In response to the GSA club ban in Texas public schools, kin•dom community has created a space where our campers can find more regular community.
WHO CAN ATTEND KIN•DOM CLUB MEETINGS?
With meetings held online, kin•dom club is open to our campers and their friends across the country.
WHO LEADS THESE MEETINGS?
This space is led by kin•dom camp volunteers – adults who have passed background checks and been trained on topics such as child development, trauma transformation, and navigating sensitive conversations.
WHEN ARE THESE MEETINGS?
kin•dom club meets twice a month on first and third Thursdays at 6:30pm Central.
Upcoming dates are:
February 5 & 19 | March 5 & 19 | April 2 & 16 | May 7 & 21

A low-stim breakout room where participants can quietly work on homework, projects, or other individual activities. Students can ask peers or leaders for homework help if needed.
These may be guided crafts where participants will be led through a project by a volunteer, or this could be a space where participants bring whatever craft or art project they're working on.
Participants can watch or listen to a piece of approved media - such as a YouTube video or podcast episode - and then have a de-brief style discussion about what they saw or heard.
Modeled after camp sign-up activities, workshops may include creative writing, poetry, yoga, queer history, astrology, and more.
Specific discussions based on identity (gay, lesbian, bi/pan, non-binary, TransMasc, TransFemme, ace/aro, dissability, BIPOC, neurodivergent, etc).
