Zac is an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA) tradition since 2012 and has previously served churches in differing contexts. Prior to his ordination, Zac earned his MDiv from Columbia Theological Seminary (Atlanta, GA) and completed a year of hospital chaplain residency. More recently, Zac has become a certified Coach, Trainer and Speaker; earned DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) certificates from Cornell University and the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay; and has been engaged with the work of the PC(USA) in their 1001 New Worshipping Communities, Vital Congregations Initiative, and Matthew 25 Initiative. Zac is passionate about social justice and transformation engagement, particularly through the spiritual lens. He is the Pastor and Director for Social Transformation of Contemplate Lincoln (NE), an ecumenical contemplative community. He also consults with faith communities and businesses, leads trainings and workshops on the creation of inclusive and just cultures within an organization and in the greater community, and coaches individuals leading this work or engaging this work in their personal lives.
